Ballast VR announces its new interactive gameplay feature for its cutting-edge VRSlide® and DIVR® immersive waterpark products.
Ballast’s newest concept for waterslides, “Play”
After thrilling over ONE MILLION waterpark guests across the world, Ballast Technologies Inc., the global VR leader in waterparks and resorts, is releasing a new interactive gameplay feature for waterslides. Ballast is pleased to introduce PLAY, the next step in immersive waterpark experiences, available in Spring 2023.

Soon guests will be able to blast targets and collect points, immersed in futuristic worlds as they slide down real waterslides while using a safe, state-of-the-art VR system. This proprietary gaze-based system tracks guests' heads in real-time allowing them to move their gaze in the direction they want to interact. Customers can safely face forward and keep their hands on the tube handles while enjoying this new technology only on PLAY by Ballast. PLAY allows guests to compete against other guests for the daily high score exactly as they do on games at home. A demo of this new technology will be available to view at the IAAPA Expo 2022 at booth #847 from November 15th - 18th.
